 For defending girls champion Alvarez to repeat the feat today in the Pacific Division championships, it will need big days from its sprint core, while relying on its depth in the field events.

 Individually, Skye Keller will look to defend his titles in the 200 and 400 for Monterey. Keller has run 22.30 in the 200 this spring.
 Seaside distance ace Jose Gonzales, a state meet qualifier in cross country last fall, has the top marks in the 1,600 and 3,200 while teammate Paul Koenig is among the CCS leaders in the 300 hurdles.
