Notre Dame softball

Graduation is going to strip the Spirits of two Division I college bound players and a third four-year starter.
Yet, this run is far from over.
Three freshmen put their names in the spotlight in Tuesday's 1-0 CCS D3 semifinal win.
While most know about 22-game winning pitcher Vanessa Gonzalez, a few more got to know Alexia Torculas, who ripped a walk-off, game-winning double, scoring freshman Kaeli Bush.
While the trio have made an impact all year for the Spirits, so to have sophomores Spencer Hyosaka, Lauren Pullara and Aly Gomonet. Yes, six starters are back for two more years.
Yet, Saturday's title game won't just be about making it three straight CCS titles and 15 total. It will also be about sending the seniors off with a win -- the one's that set the bar four years ago.
How many top ranked programs get a shot to end the year with a win?
