No. 5 North Salinas (20-7) vs. No. 4 Los Altos (20-8)
 Five of North Salinas' seven setbacks this year came from either San Benito or Notre Dame, which happen to be the top seeds in their respective divisions.
 The Vikings got a gem in their postseason opener from pitcher Shayla Castaneda to advance with a 1-0 win over Oak Grove while Los Altos hammered Pacific Division champion Watsonville 9-0.
 Runner-ups this season in the De Anza Division, the Eagles have produced 22 runs in their last three games. Lizzy Beutter is hitting over .400 with a team high 27 runs batted in.
 Yet, where Beutter does her most damage is in the circle, where she's won 19 games, sporting a 1.21 earned run average with 191 strikeouts 173 innings.
 Serena Castaneda has hit four homers this spring for North Salinas while Kaitlyn Shipman has been arguably the teams MVP.
