One team has a share of the Mission Trail Athletic League title.
Will the other two add their names to it today?
Pacific Grove avenged last year's meltdown in the season finale - which cost them the MTAL title - by beating King City on Wednesday to put its name on a banner.
Carmel and Soledad can do the same today.
But it's not a lock.
In the Padres last meeting with Greenfield, they went extra frames before the defending champions pulled it out in eight innings.
Soledad, who hasn't won an MTAL title since 2010, has struggled in the past at Stevenson. Four of its five overall losses this spring have come on the road.
If all three teams finish in a tie for first, points will decide who has to play CAL champion Trinity on Friday for the third and automatic seed into the CCS playoffs.
Either way, all three teams have enough points to qualify for the postseason. In fact, Carmel might have enough points to be pushed into the Open Division.
The CCS seeding meeting is Saturday at 4 p.m. in San Jose.
