The sophomore sprinter for Santa Catalina is going to pursue both the 400 and 100 at next week's Central Coast Section track and field trails.
What makes this double so difficult is the 400 -- which is far more demanding -- is before the 100. The events will be roughly 20 minutes a part at the CCS finals in two weeks.
Revera is ranked No. 2 in the CCS in the 100 and No. 4 in the 400. But her time in the 400 has her ranked No. 11 in the state.
Of course, only the top three in each event at the section finals advance to the state meet, unless they meet a provisional qualifying mark.
Revera didn't have to run hard to win the MTAL 400 on Friday. That won't be the case at next week's section trials.
How will the hamstrings feel with minimal rest?
Keep in mind that she's also ranked No. 3 in the CCS in the 200.
