Central Coast Athletics is putting together a 7-on-7 Fast Football League for ages 9-13 and 14-18 in July. Former Monterey High and CFL wide receiver Maurice Mann will head the league, which plays on a 40-yard field.
The league is hoping to put together eight teams in each age division, sending an elite team in each age class to compete in a national tournament. FFL travel teams have a high percentage rate of securing athletic scholarships. Fee is $150 a player, including a helmet and jersey.
