Aargon-Carmel baseball

Central Coast Section Division II Semifinals
Tuesday's game
No. 14 Aragon (19-12) vs. No. 7 Carmel (22-7), 4 p.m. at San Jose Municipal Stadium.
What do these two teams have in common?
Both were the only programs to go on the road and beat Soledad.
Clearly neither one of these programs took the seedings to heart in advancing through the first two rounds.
Runner-ups in the Peninsula Ocean Division, Aragon has as many homers this year (4) as Carmel hit in its first playoff game. In fact, it's hitting just .256 as a team.
What it has is an ace in David Hermann, who is 7-2 with an earned run average just above 2.00. In addition, Chad Franquez sports a 1.63 ERA in 10 starts.
Hitting has not been a problem for Carmel, who has 10-runned its first two opponents, having scored 27 runs against Scotts Valley and Mills.
Who hasn't contributed to this assault? William Kehoe ripped two homers in the postseason opener  while Carter Hayes and Robby Treadwell have been on fire all season.
