Salinas may have a dilemma today when it faces Palma for the second time in 24 hours.
The Cowboys used both of their aces in Thursday's 6-5, nine-inning win in Ryan Jensen and Josh Olivarria.
With Ethan Santos out for the season with a broken ankle, Salinas may have to turn to its No. 4 and 5 pitchers, which have been effective as well.
Olivarria, who has won his last four outings, tossed only 2 1/3 innings on Thursday. So he could still start today.
Palma, meanwhile, is looking to snap a season high five-game losing streak, which has even its overall record at 10-10.
