MPC softball

  Snubbed from the postseason, the Lobos recorded the second most wins in school history with 25 this spring.
 Sophomore pitcher Clarisa Cortez finished No. 5 in the state in wins during the regular season with 21, compiling a 1.82 earned run average.
 Janell Godfrey, a North County product, led MPC in homers (5) and runs batted in (44) in 38 games, while hitting .406. She struck out one time in 144 at bats.
 Sam Luna led the team in hitting (.437) and runs scored (47). Of the Salinas High graduates 59 hits, 35 went for extra bases this spring.
