Salinas-Bellarmine boys hoops

CCS Division I finals
Saturday's game
No. 7 Salinas (22-5) vs. No. 1 Bellarmine (16-10) at Santa Clara University, 8 p.m.
These teams are no strangers to each other when it comes to meeting in the section finals, having battled in the 2009 and 2003 Division I title games.
In both cases, the Bells went on to win Division I titles, with both games being held at Santa Clara University.
The Cowboys have found avenues to win games by two, three and four points in the postseason to reach the finals while Bellarmine has wins by 14 and 20 points.
Owners of 10 section basketball titles. the Bells also beat Salinas in the semifinals in 2012 and in the first round in 2007.
A common opponent is Independence, who Bellarmine beat by 40 earlier in the season and Salinas defeated by four in its playoff opener.
No one has been more consistent this season for the Cowboys than Nat Hunsdorfer, who produced another double-double in the semifinal win.
Production inside has also come from Nick Dainty while LaRon Logwood has heated up for Salinas in critical moments.
Play on the perimeter will be crucial for Salinas, who can expect pressure at the top from Bellarmine.
