Senior second baseman Stephen Ventimilia is hitting .286 for the Hawaii baseball team, with four of his eight hits going for extra bases in eight starts.
Hitting in the leadoff spot for the Warriors, Ventimilia is second on the team in walks and has scored six runs and driven in four. He also leads the team in steals and sports a .980 fielding percentage.Ventimilia played seven sports in three years at Monterey High, starting all four years in baseball at shortstop, and quarterbacking the Toreadores football team to a spot in the CCS finals in 2010.
