Giovanna Kolofer

 Sophomore Giovanna Kolofer made an immediate impact in her return to the starting lineup for the University of Delaware softball team, hitting a home run.

 The third baseman is hitting .283 in six starts for the Blue Hens, having scored seven runs and driven in three. Kolofer also has three stolen bases.
 Last year Kolofer was the teams Most Valuable Player, earning second team all-CAA honors, as well as being named to the CAA all-rookie team.
 Kolofer was a four-year starter at Notre Dame, propelling the team to a Central Coast Section title in 2013.
