CCS Division III playoffs
Thursday's game
Soledad (10-15) at No. 6 Burlingame (14-12), 7 p.m.
Unranked in the section playoffs, the Aztecs are coming off the program's first ever road playoff win, using a 16-0 run in the fourth quarter to stun Monterey.
Burlingame finished second in the Peninsula South Division after falling 58-55 to league champion Mills in the season finale.
Senior guard Justin Gutang is averaging nearly 15 points a game for the Panthers while 6-5 center Tyler Garlitos is averaging just under 13 points a night.
Soledad is an up-tempo team that applies pressure at the top, yet is patient in running its offense. If it gets hot on the perimeter with Mark Valladarez, it can be lethal.
What the Aztecs can't do is turn the ball over as much as they did against Monterey.
