Seaside-Sacred Heart Prep girls hoops

CCS Division IV playoffs
Thursday's game
 No. 11 Seaside (10-12) at No. 6 Sacred Heart Prep (12-12), 7 p.m.
The Gators were just 3-9 in the rugged West Bay Foothill Division, but 9-3 outside league play. Two of their wins came against Pacific Grove and Monte Vista.
Junior guard Riley Hemm is a catalyst for Sacred Heart, averaging 14.6 points and nearly four assists a game.
Seaside is in the second round for the second straight year after holding off Greenfield 45-43 for the second consecutive year.
While Naomi Dimas is regarded as a defensive demon, she knocked down two free throws to seal the win for Seaside. After missing last season with a knee injury, Marielle Tuazon runs the offense.
