No one has put together a bigger break-out season this winter than the Condors.
But this is uncharted waters for a program now in its 36th season.
North County has never gone undefeated in league play.
For that to occur, the Condors (10-0) will face arguably their two biggest nemesis to close the Pacific Division regular season in Alvarez and Alisal.
For no worse than a share of its first league title in 11 years, North County has to win at least one of those battles.
To complete a magical season and go undefeated, the Condors will have to defeat the 9-1 Eagles on the road, where Alvarez is 8-1 at home this year.
In the teams first battle, North County took advantage of a huge home crowd to knock the reigning champions off 53-36.
An argument can be made that Jordan Graves has been the league's MVP this year for North County, averaging over 18 points a game.
Alvarez has been forced to use a scoring by committee approach throughout league play after losing two keys starters. Four different players have led the team in scoring this season, including Bernard Gomez.
