Having already sealed no worse than a share of the Gabilan Division title, the Chieftains can wrap it up tonight at home against Monte Vista.
Unbeaten in nine league games, Palma defeated Monte Vista by 20 on Jan. 21. It has won all nine league games by 11 or more points.
Wyatt Maker has evolved into a machine inside, averaging over 15 points a game in league, while sophomore guard Jamaree Bouyea is a nice compliment on the outside along with Jack Burlison.
Defense, though, is the cornerstone towards Palma's bid for a undefeated league season and a likely invitation to the CCS Open Division playoffs.
During a current 10 game winning streak, the Chieftains have held five teams under 40 points and five others under 45 points.
