Girls Division I and III playoffs

CCS Division I playoffs
Tuesday's games
Salinas (11-13) at Andrew Hill (13-11), 7 p.m.
The Cowboys struggled down the stretch, dropping six of their final eight games. Kathleen Bass and Marissa Hernandez need to get involved in the offense early.
Members of the Santa Teresa Athletic League, which includes league champ Sobrato and Live Oak, the Falcons closed the season with two straight wins.

Alisal (14-10) at Monta Vista-Cupertino (11-12), 7 p.m.
One of five teams from the El Camino Division to make the playoffs, the Matadors lost three games decided by five points or less this year.
Natosha Castro, Rocio Becerra and Lydia Garcia have all become cornerstones in Alisal's attack of late. Three of the teams last six losses came from Pacific Division champion Notre Dame.

Alvarez (15-9) at Evergreen Valley (7-17), 7 p.m.
In the postseason for the first time since 1999, the Eagles closed the regular season with three straight wins behind Angelina Ruiz and Deaysia Gamble.
Evergreen finished last in the Mount Hamilton Division. No one stands above 5-foot-9 for the Cougars, who snapped a nine-game losing streak by going 3-3 down the stretch.

Division III
North County (15-9) at Del Mar (14-10), 7 p.m.
Snubbed from the playoffs last year, the Condors won their last seven games, including a win over Pacific Division champion Notre Dame.
Five different players averaged 5.5 or more points a game, including Demelza Perez. Del Mar was second to Oak Grove in the West Valley Division, closing the year with three straight wins.
The Dons are similar to North County in that they rely on a lot of different players to contribute in the scoring column. And Del Mar doesn't have a lot of size.
