CCS girls soccer playoffs
Wednesday's games
Division I
 No. 10 Alisal (15-2-2) at No. 7 Menlo-Atherton (10-5-4), 6 p.m.
  Forgive the Trojans if they have a chip on their shoulders after recording the third most wins in the Division I tournament, allowing just nine goals all season, yet didn't get a home game.
 Menlo-Atherton finished fourth in the PAL Bay Division, scoring 48 goals. Priscilla Ruiz had 22 by herself this year for Alisal, while goalie Brittany Perez recorded 12 shutouts.
Division II
 No. 13 Soledad (9-8-2) at No. 4 Leigh (17-1-1), 3 p.m.
 The Aztecs are in the postseason for just the second time, using a hat trick from Belinda Ascencio to beat CAL champion York in the play-in game.
 Leigh is legit, having won the BVAL Mount Hamilton Division, earning a No. 19 state ranking. Four players have eight or more goals, including Emily Smith (12).
 Division III
 No. 7 Sacred Heart Cathedral (8-8-4) at No. 10 Pacific Grove (8-6-3), 6 p.m.
  On the heels of capturing a share of their first ever Mission Trail Athletic League title, the Breakers are still looking for their first win outside the MTAL.
 Ashley Aguilar and Vanessa Barragan have triggered a balanced offense all winter for Pacific Grove. The Fightin' Irish were just 2-7-1 in the WCAL, but 6-1-3 outside league play.
No. 9 Monte Vista Christian (12-4-2) at No. 8 Greenfield (10-5-3), 6 p.m.
 Owners of the programs first ever Mission Trail Athletic League co-championship, the Bruins are making their second straight postseason appearance.
 Greenfield went 8-1-2 after an 0-2 league start. Alicia Montanez got hot in the second half with a school record 22 goals while Maritza Trujillo provided 10.
 As a team, the Bruins set a school record for goals with 49.
 Monte Vista won the Pacific Division title by winning its last three games by 1-0 scores. Goalie Elissa Cooper has 100 saves between the pipes this year.
