On the bubble: Alvarez, King City, Monterey

Didn't you post on Jan 7th that Alvarez knocked off Christopher in a dual matchup?
Are you measuring if they were to face in dual meets or how they will finish in CCS? There is a difference. In the case mentioned with Alvarez, Christopher would place higher in CCS because they have a #1 wrestler. I think Palma probably places higher than the rest because they have at least 3 high placers in CCS although missing a few weight slots. I think Palma would probably defeat Christopher in a dual as well but probably 1 or 2 in CCS in the area. Palma just placed third at a very good Clayton Valley tournament behind De la Salle and Amador Valley (two very good wrestling programs) this last weekend with two champions and a third and a couple of other consolation medals. If Palma didn't have one injury and a wrestler that DQed in a match due to a questionable move (a throw) they would have had a couple place higher and competed even closer to the top of the tournament which was close. Hollister has a couple wrestlers that are ranked relatively high, but I think the Christopher and Palma wrestlers will have more that place higher in CCS and thus more team points. Gilroy of course is head and shoulders above everyone else. If you are measuring dual, you may be right in rankings but Alvarez did defeat Christopher which doesn't make sense by your rankings.
