Don't discount the Condors as a potential title contender in the Pacific Division.
Since enduring a three-game losing streak, North County closed the preseason with a 5-2 record, knocking off San Benito in the process.
The Condors have one of the elite scorers in the league in junior Jordan Graves, who has led the team in scoring in each of his first three years, dropping in just under 17 points this year.
The team is also 3-1 since inserting sophomore center Jeremy Heitzman into the lineup. The 6-foot-4 post gives North County a presence in the paint.
During their recent run, the Condors have scored 70 or more points three times. In the Pacific Division, shootouts may be the requirement.
