Alvarez-Alisal boys soccer

 One match doesn't dictate the season.
 But it can set the tone.
 Two teams that have higher aspirations than a league title engage in combat tonight when defending Gabilan Division boys soccer champion Alisal entertains Alvarez.
 Last year the only blemish on the Trojans bit for an unbeaten league season came from Alvarez.
 Behind Santiago Morales, Alisal was unbeaten in the non-league season at 3-0-4, going 1-0-2 against teams from the WCAL.
 Christian Santibanez and Ricardo Soza both have 10 goals as the Eagles posted a 6-1-1 non-league record, outscoring the opposition 18-0 in the first half.
