John Devine has been writing about high school sports in Monterey County since, well, practically since he was an athlete at King City in the days just after leather helmets. In PrepNation, John has even more in-depth analysis of the latest results and news he's brought to you in The Herald and in his weekly videos.

Gilroy #1 of course.
Christopher and Palma will battle out for #2. Palma will have more depth and if face in dual might win. CCS depending on hw a few wrestlers place (Alex Garcia wins CCS and by the way a former palma wrestler) could put them at top. Palma 145/152 has between the #1 wrestler in the upper weight this summer in CCS and good shot taking a weight in CCS. Palma will have more depth this year, than last and program work has taken another level notch up in training with new head coach (a former all American). San Benito will have less depth than the above. The others have a few good wresters, but my top three should be at another level.
