Soledad boys soccer

The defending MTAL champions lost just one game in a record breaking season last year -- the final game in the CCS Division III semifinals.
 And it occurred in overtime, in a game Soledad should have hosted instead of traveled to.
 Don't think it isn't serving as motivation this year for the Aztecs, who open their home season today  against Alvarez.
 The core of the team is back, including Fabian Guzman, who scored the only goal in the playoff loss and finished with 23 goals last season.
 Guzman will be the center of attention on offense this year for Soledad, who won 20 games last year, 11 by shutouts.
 Soledad has won the last three MTAL titles and is unbeaten in its last 49 league matches -- and 34 regular season games.
