Last year's tournament runner-up Salinas will be the favorite this weekend in the annual Alisal Winter Jam Classic.
The Cowboys, who open the tournament today facing Aptos, are off to a 3-0 start this year, having already beaten two of the teams in the tournament in Soledad and host Alisal.
Last year Salinas lost to Alisal 33-31 in the tournament title game.
Soledad, who won 16 games last year, has one of the top players in the tournament in Meg Paraguya, who averaged over 15 points a game last year.
Alisal comes into the tournament with a little momentum after beating SLV in overtime on Tuesday behind Lydia Garcia's 14 points.
So is Greenfield, who used a double-double from Carissa Daniel to beat Coalinga on Tuesday.
