Pacific Grove football

The Shoe. The title. The streak.
It's all back at Pacific Grove.
The Breakers ended Carmel's six-year reign as league champions and run of 46 straight league wins in a 35-28 win.
Tears of joy streamed down the face of Pacific Grove coach Chris Morgan.
You don't need to be a life-long resident or former player to understand the importance of The Shoe.
Morgan has been trying since his arrival five years ago.
Saturday, he finally got to touch the bronze statue, embracing like a Stanley Cup.
What was unique is his players brought The Shoe to him, surrounding him like a blanket of fog.

Great game. Selbicky, Leach and Coppola showed up to lead their team, which allowed PG to work in a more cohesive matter. Both teams showed up to play, but the bottom line is the Breakers showed up playing better, and the team who shows up to play the hardest is the team that will when win,the Breakers played better football today. The shoe is going to look great at Pacific Grove High. Good job PG.
