 King City will run into Saturday's Central Coast Section Division IV finals at Toro Park the favorite. One team that could pose a threat to their bid for supremacy is Seaside.

 Individuals chasing state berths include Michelle Watkins of Pacific Grove, who qualified for the state championships as a freshman four years ago, and teammate Christina Hashimoto.
  In addition, Salinas distance ace Leah Meuter will line up in Division I, as will Jorge Sanchez of Alvarez in the Division I boys finals.
