Alisal (1-8) at North County (5-4), 2 p.m.
The Condors went from a potential share of the Pacific Division title last week to needing a win just to keep their postseason hopes alive in their season finale.
Remember, this was a program that was winless last year. Only one other team has produced a five-game improvement this fall.
Alisal's struggles have been offensively, where it just can't score points -- 33 of its 83 points came in its only win this fall.
The numbers are good at all three levels at Alisal. And head coach Jim Lockwood is in for the long haul in resurrecting this program.
This could be the final game on grass at North County. Barring any setbacks, a new synthetic field will be installed over the summer. Lights are next.
