None of that matters this week as Salinas opens Gabilan Division play with its fourth straight road game against a Baler program that's only non-league loss was to section power Los Gatos.
The Cowboys have beaten San Benito the last two years in the regular season, but fell to the eventual CCS Division I champions in the 2012 playoffs.
Bruce Leighton and Zach McDermott have accounted for 11 of Salinas' 13 touchdowns this fall, with Leighton have rushed for over 100 yards in four straight games.
San Benito's defense, anchored by Tyler Biersdorff and Andrew Sotelo, has allowed just one player to rush for over 100 yards this fall.
