King City-Pacific Grove football

Friday's games
King City (3-4) at Pacific Grove (6-1), 7:30 p.m.
It's been somewhat of a disappointing season for the Mustangs, who have been beset by injuries over the past two weeks and are playing for pride.
Altering the offense with a two-back formation has seen the Breakers produce 156 points in four MTAL games.
Perhaps more impressive has been Pacific Grove's defense, which has allowed just 22 points during a four-game winning streak while recording 22 sacks this fall -- 10 from James Donlon.
King City's struggles can be pointed to the ground game. It is winless when it doesn't rush for more than 100 yards in a game.
While Dominic Rose has lived up to the hype with 42 catches for nearly 700 yards, teams are going to double the 6-foot-3 Mustangs receiver and dare someone else to beat them.
