Carmel-Marina football

Friday's game
Carmel (3-2) vs. Marina (0-5) at Monterey Peninsula College, 7:30 p.m.
It has not been the juggernaut offense we have seen from Carmel over the last six years. Yet, it's still  averaging 36.2 points a game in its three wins.
The Mariners got their first offensive points of the year in last week's loss.
Since surrendering 122 points in three non-league games, the Padres defense has allowed 23 points in its first two MTAL games, stretching its league winning streak to 42 straight.
As dynamic as Carmel's potent passing attack still is, sophomore running back Covossay Windham gives them an option to control the clock, having piled up 658 yards.
Five games into the fall and Connor Marden has gone over 1,000 yards passing for the third straight   season for Carmel.
