Friday's game
Wilcox (2-0) at Seaside (0-2), 7:30 p.m.
Champions of the De Anza Athletic League last fall, the Chargers haven't played a game since Aug. 29, falling to Manteca 20-14.
Seaside is still searching for an identity on offense, having produced just 14 points this year, having been outscored 37-7 in the second half.
Converted linebacker Troy Luper continues to grow into the position at quarterback, having rushed for over 100 yards last week for the Spartans.
Seaside's defense is spending a long time on the field, having given up over 700 rushing yards in its first two games.
Wilcox piled up 378 rushing yards against them last year in a double overtime win.
It's homecoming this week at Seaside.
