Top 10 Football

1. Monterey: Explosive offense with several individual game changers.
2. Carmel: The options are endless for quarterback Connor Marden.
3. Palma: Not one player is going to carry the offense this fall.
4. San Benito: A second half team over the last five years.
5. Alvarez: An up-tempo offense with an aggressive defense.
6. Christopher: Probably should be in the Gabilan Division.
7. Salinas: Two CCS defending champions among its first four games.
8. King City: No excuses this year for a postseason run.
9. Pacific Grove: Last year's record setting offense will be hard to duplicate.
10. Seaside: Has made eight straight postseason appearances.
 On the bubble: North Salinas, Soledad, Monte Vista, Gilroy.

Seaside went 2 and 8 in the 2011 season and did not make the playoffs. So it is not correct to say that they have made eight straight postseason appearances. Having said that, Seaside has one of the better playoff records in the area over the past 10 years. Beginning in the 2004 season they have only missed the postseason in one year...2011.
