St. Francis-Gonzales football

Friday's game
St. Francis Catholic (1-1) at Gonzales (0-1), 7:30 p.m.
I expect we will see Chrystian Harrigan behind center at some point on Friday. He's a double threat with his arm and legs, having compiled over 1,700 rushing and passing yards last year.
Moving Nathaniel Ramirez back to tight end gives Gonzales four quality receivers. Teams have to respect Harrigan's ability to run, meaning they can't drop an extra defender in coverage.
For the second straight year, St. Francis is playing an independent schedule with hopes of returning to the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League next fall.
Quarterback Nick Ciandro has thrown for 549 yards and five touchdowns for the Sharks, as well as rushing for 101 yards.
Conor Bagchee and Ivo Lasich both have 15 catches for St. Francis. While the Sharks have a roster of 41 players, 24 are either freshmen or sophomores.
