North County (2-1) at Alvarez (3-0), 7:30 p.m.
The Eagles made a statement last week, going up to Atherton and putting 48 points up on previously unbeaten Menlo.
Alvarez's defense has yet to allow a point in the first quarter this year, outscoring teams 41-0. It has seven interceptions in three games, two apiece from Edric Gamble and Ryan Hocog.
Gamble leads the Eagles in rushing on designed runs or scrambles, averaging over 20 yards a carry. He is also averaging 23 yards a completion.
After giving up 55 points in their first two games, the Condors defense pitched a shutout last week in a win over Greenfield.
Quarterback Andrew Ducusin has yet to throw an interception for North County while Jordan Graves has rushed for a touchdown, thrown a touchdown and caught a touchdown.
