Mendocino-Hartnell football

Saturday's game
Mendocino (0-2) vs. Hartnell (2-0) at Rabobank Stadium, 2 p.m.
Mendocino has given up 101 points in two games, including 64 to Gavilan last week.  Four different quarterbacks have seen action this fall.
Tailback Ja'Korin Graves, who missed Mendocino's season opener, is also a threat on kickoffs as well with his speed.
The Panthers escaped with a road win last week, scoring the last 15 points to pull out a 33-27 win over Redwoods. Dating back to last year, Hartnell has won eight straight games.
Nias Martin did something seldom seen, returning a botched extra point 98 yards for two points for Hartnell last week.
Reuniting the Turner brothers has given the Panthers passing attack a shot in the arm as Michael Turner has hooked up with his brother Ronnie seven times this year -- four for touchdowns.
Sherrod Hawkes has 140 rushing yards in two games with three touchdowns. Hartnell's defense has allowed just 13 points in the first half this season.
The Panthers are even in turnover ratio.
