King City-Alisal football

Friday's game
King City (0-2) at Alisal (0-2), 7:30 p.m.
Three out of the last four years the Mustangs have stumbled out the gates to an 0-2 start. This fall it has not been able to jump start the running game.
That could change this week with the expected return of Wacey Barrington, who had off-season knee surgery.
Of course, now King City's concerns turn to quarterback, where Chase Barbree left last week's game with a sprained left wrist. He could be a game day decision.
Alisal has struggled offensively against two teams that went to the playoffs last year, as it learns a new system under first year coach Jim Lockwood.
The 26 points the Trojans produced in a win over King City last year was a season high - or 14 more points than they have scored this year.
