Dating back to 2012, the reigning CCS Division III champion Mariners are 22-1 against teams in the Central Coast Section, having won their last 12 games.
Five different running backs will rotate in for Aptos -- all providing a different style of running. Last week the fab five combined for 215 rushing yards in a win at Salinas.
Seaside is searching for an identity after stumbling in last week's loss to Skyline. An offensive make over has simplified things this fall.
Defensively, the Spartans spent too much time on the field last week and wore down in the second half, allowing 36 unanswered points.
