Andrew Franks

The former Carmel High three-sport standout was named the Liberty League's Special Teams Player of the Week for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.
 Franks connected on three field goals, had six touchbacks on seven kickoffs and averaged 38 yards on six punts in the Engineers' season opening win over Norwich.
 A preseason All-American, Franks had field goals of 22, 35 and 32 yards. His kickoffs averaged 64 yards, with only one being returned.
 Franks already owns the school record for longest field goal (50 yards) and field goals in one game (5). He is currently No. 3 all-time in field goals with 24.
