Friday's Jamboree's

What can we expect out of tonight's Salinas City Jamboree at Rabobank Stadium and the South County Jamboree in Soledad?
 Very little.
Oh, teams will get a shot to line up against a different colored helmet.
But for the most part, coaches go very vanilla in these glorified scrimmages.
Most coaches already know what they've got. Jamborees are often more of an opportunity for a kid no one is talking about to sparkle in the moment.
Plus three of the four teams in the Salinas City Jamboree will see each other again this fall while all four South County teams will face each other later in the year when it counts.
All that being said, I am curious to see how much of Salinas' new offense is displayed at the Salinas Jamboree.
It is also the debut of Alisal coach Jim Lockwood and North Salinas coach Darren Spence.
The atmosphere at Gonzales has changed this year. Will that translate to a better performance on the field?
No one, though, is going to show their hand, not with next week's opponents likely in the stands scouting.
