The one-time Palma High and Monterey Peninsula College quarterback is in his second season with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League.
The 6-foot-4 Reader has played in 10 games for Iowa, completing 48-of-79 passes for 610 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Last week in a loss to the Philadelphia Soul, Reader came in and rushed for his first AFL touchdown.
Last month Reader completed 6-of-8 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown against Tampa. In a start against Orlando, he completed 21-of-33 for 221 yards and seven touchdown passes.
