The Aztecs season can go in numerous directions in the final week of the league season.
Title hopes are still flickering for Soledad, who sit two games back of co-leading Carmel and Pacific Grove with two to play.
A more realistic goal would be locking down the third spot out of the MTAL, which would constitute a play-in game with the Coastal Athletic League champion on Friday.
Falling in its final two games could drop Soledad into a tie for third, where it would lose the third seed based on head-to-head meetings with Stevenson.
Carmel controls its fate towards a league title. Run the table and it gathers no worse than a share of the programs 32nd MTAL crown.
