Santa Catalina-Pacific Grove softball

What was originally billed as a battle for the MTAL lead has now become a battle for survival for the Breakers.
 A win today over Santa Catalina can push them back into a tie for first. But a loss would eliminate  Pacific Grove from title contention and put its playoff hopes in question.
 The Breakers are just 11-13 overall. And in the tight MTAL, one loss can drop you to fifth.
 The Cougars have been on fire of late with eight straight wins, which began with an 8-6 win over Pacific Grove on April 8.
 Sophomores Tatumn Satow and Marissa Bruno have 10 or more games this spring with two or more hits. In 18 games, Chase LeeHong has 26 runs batted in.
