More than 40 days have past since Alisal and Palma battled on the court.
That's the last time the co-leading Chieftains suffered a league loss.
Owners of 10 straight league wins, Palma has put themselves in position for the programs first ever league volleyball title when it hosts co-leader Alisal on Tuesday.
Both teams sit with just two league losses with two matches left in the season.
In that first battle, Alisal turned to Edgar Huerta, who powered them past Palma in four games.
Huerta hasn't stopped humbling opponents with his power.
The Chieftains have been more of a committee approach with defensive specialist Jeremy Dicks jump starting an offense that includes Toby Wisner and Jean-Luc Adam.
