Stevenson-Pacific Grove softball

The Breakers can really create a log jam in the Mission Trail Athletic League on Tuesday with a win over visiting Stevenson.
Before the day is up, five teams could all have two losses in league play at the halfway point in the season.
Pacific Grove has struggled to find an identity this spring after winning 19 games last year with just two seniors.
Cierra Pieroni is coming off arguably her best effort in the circle this season, celebrating her 18th birthday by pitching a 10 inning gem last week in a win over Aptos.
The same can be said for sophomore Jensen Main, who fired a three-hitter in shutting out Gonzales, propelling the Pirates into sole possession of first place.
Stevenson has relied on its power at the plate as Puava Tulau, Dominique Seva'aetasi and Main have all ripped three homers. The team is 8-1 when one of the Big Three homers.
Victoria Harris has hit safely in 17 of  Pacific Grove's 19 games this year, leading the MTAL in hits with 33.
