Saturday morning thoughts

 Most impressive: The Otters softball team rattling off two more wins, giving them 19 straight, tying the nations high for Division II.
 Dramatics: Amber Duplissie ripping three home runs in one game, propelling North County past Monterey and into first place in the Pacific Division for softball.
 Clutch effort: Justin Flores coming in and tossing three hitless innings of relief, enabling Salinas to pull out a 5-4 win over Monte Vista in baseball.
 Pitchers duel: King City's Jordan Silva and Trent Salcido combining on a two hitter to beat Galen Manhard and Stevenson 1-0.
 Birthday present: Cierra Pieroni  celebrated her 18th birthday for Pacific Grove by pitching a 10-inning gem in a 4-3 win over Aptos in softball.
 Comeback: Carmel rallied from a five-run deficit to send Soledad to its third straight loss with a 6-5 win in baseball.
 Difference maker: Lucas Milar won three events in the water, lifting Pacific Grove to a 68-62 win over York in swimming.
