Having snapped a five-game losing streak last week, Salinas has a rematch today with Monterey before facing defending Gabilan Division champion Palma for two games.
While the Cowboys sit five games off the lead as the teams near the midpoint of league play, Salinas could climb back into the playoff hunt this week or drop to the cellar.
Salinas is just 3-5 in games decided by two runs or less.
Josh Olivarria, Cole Mallett and Jon Santos have started to swing the bats better of late for Salinas.
