Of course, if the Aztecs want to make amends, they can't walk six hitters. And they can't muster just two hits in a game.
Pacific Grove is a battle tested team and it showed on Monday in a 4-0 win.
Now, how do both teams respond in a game that still is a battle for first?
This time it will likely be Andy Sanchez for Soledad against Nic Boatman. Both pitchers have yet to suffer a defeat this year.
There is always a comfort zone playing in your yard. And while this is an important game, it's not a must win for either team.
