Competing in her first heptathlon for Cal Poly, SLO, Davis finished eighth overall at the Sacramento Mid Major Challenge.
A state meet participant in the 100 hurdles and 300 low hurdles while at King City, Davis produced 4,181 points.
Over the two-day event, Davis competed in the 100 hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200, long jump, javelin and 800.
The freshman has the fastest marks for Cal Poly in the 100 hurdles (15.13) and javelin (101-0).
Davis is the Mission Trail Athletic League record holder in the 100 hurdles.
