Woodward has started 12 games for Colorado-Mesa, hitting .326 with two homers. Seven of his 15 hits have been for extra bases.
A three-sport standout at Carmel, the junior infielder has yet to commit an error in 69 chances in the field.
Former Carmel teammate Rob Kovach is a relief pitcher for the nationally ranked Mavericks, who are 27-8 overall.
