Carmel-Soledad baseball

A week ago the Aztecs were 12-0 overall and chasing history.
Today Soledad is in a must win situation against Carmel if it still has title hopes dancing in its heads.
Dropping a fourth straight game would push the Aztecs four games back with eight to play, turning the season into a chase for a playoff spot rather than a title.
Watching a five-run lead disappear in a 6-5 loss to Carmel last week rattled the Aztecs.
What has carried Soledad this year is defense and pitching. That disappeared in two losses last week.
While Carmel has dropped three of its last four games, the win came over Soledad.
Andres Enriquez, who is among the team leaders in numerous offensive categories, picked up the win against Soledad.
